James Falletti is an award-winning science educator and passionate environmental advocate based in the Greater New York metropolitan area. Honored with the Cherri Brinley Outstanding Educator Award and the Patricia F. Kane Environmental Educator Award, James has spent over 15 years combining his love for environmental education and photography. As a contributor writer for Gotham Whale and the Bergen County Audubon Society (BCAS), where he also serves on the field trip committee, James uses his expertise to connect communities through storytelling and art.
James has taught Science and STEAM classes both in-person and virtually across the U.S. and internationally, while also developing sustainability-focused school programs with Eco-Schools USA, a National Wildlife Federation initiative. A Google Certified Educator, Space Foundation’s Dr. Rochelle Abrams Space Across the Curriculum Teacher, and a National Geographic Certified Educator, James brings diverse knowledge to his educational work. He is also a Solar System Ambassador for NASA JPL and a member of the Space Exploration Educator Crew.
Through his engaging workshops and presentations, James inspires creativity and curiosity in digital photography, environmental science, and nature conservation. His programs include hands-on photography techniques, including editing with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, and offer a unique perspective on wildlife and nature conservation.
