About James Falletti

As an award-winning global educator, James has seamlessly incorporated Space Education and Environmental Education throughout his Curriculum and Lessons. James has taught Science & STEAM classes in person and virtually throughout the United States and internationally; while developing school programs educating youth on sustainability with Eco-Schools USA, a National Wildlife Federation program. He is a Google Certified Educator and a Space Foundation’s Dr. Rochelle Abrams Space Across the Curriculum Teacher. He is also a member of the Space Exploration Educator Crew, a Solar System Ambassador for NASA JPL, and a National Geographic Certified Educator.

In 2017, New Jersey teacher James Falletti received the HESA2017 for receiving the prestigious Right Stuff Award while attending SAE (Space Academy for Educators) at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville. In 2021, James was honored with both the distinguished Cherri Brinley Outstanding Educator Award at the 27th annual Space Exploration Educators Conference (SEEC) and the Patricia F. Kane Environmental Educator Award for NJ Audubon. 

As a photographer, James has artfully combined his passion for environmental education and photography for over 15 years. With the images he captures, he connects communities with nature, science and each other through storytelling and art. James enjoys traveling wherever he goes with both his Nikon D500 and Nikon D750.
